Welcome to Cardiff by the Sea - newly remodeled home in the desired area of Cardiff located in North County San Diego, just 1 mile from beach!! Our home features everything you need for an extended stay, including sprawling private front and back outdoor living areas, fire pit/BBQ, 3 bdrms, 2 full baths, fully stocked kitchen, fast wifi, and more. Easy access to the 5 freeway, downtown Cardiff & Encinitas, Moonlight Beach, Del Mar Race Track, San Elijo Beach & Campground.
This is a 3bd/2bath single story home located in quiet, coastal neighborhood of Cardiff by the Sea in Encinitas and 1 mile to world class surf and beaches. The home is a great place to relax and socialize with unique indoor and outdoor living spaces that has been completely remodeled in Nov 2022 with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable.
The primary bedroom has an attached large bathroom with rainfall shower, a french doors opening into the front oasis enclosed with a privacy fence. Guest bedrooms include one with a queen bed and another with 2 twin beds. A newly remodeled full bathroom with bathtub/shower combination is across the hall from the guest bedrooms. All rooms have brand new mattresses, sheets, pillows, and comforters!
The front of the house is a relaxing oasis open off of primary bedroom leading you to chaise lounges with a privacy fence for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy a glass of wine looking at the stars with our outdoor heating lamp (although you may not need it because of our warm nights) or enjoy the San Diego sun during the day! Beautiful seasonal plants line the sides and front yards.
In the back of the house/backyard, you'll find an enclosed dining patio with a table for 8, a comfortable seating area to relax and read a book, and a huge outdoor living area with a firepit and seating for 8, and a brand new gas bbq. Enjoy playing games or outdoor meals with absolute privacy.
Kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a big beautiful range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, and every utensil you could want to cook a stellar meal. Counter stools allow casual breakfast in the kitchen/living area!
The living room is open and spaciously attached to the kitchen with a queen sized pullout couch and a 55" tv to watch movies or binge your favorite streaming shows.
The house has laundry in the garage, brand new central heat & air, and fast WiFi!
This is not a party house, but rather a relaxing, family friendly home. Noise policies strictly enforced by the host and the city of Encinitas. If you're looking for a rowdy and loud weekend, kindly look elsewhere.
Close to Legoland, Moonlight Beach, Del Mar Racetrack, San Diego Safari Park, San Elijo State Beach and Campgrounds, and La Jolla. 25 minutes to the airport and downtown San Diego.
The whole house and yard will be at your disposal during your stay!

-We love animals and well-behaved dogs are always welcome. Please note we do require a $50 additional pet fee per stay per pet. 2 pets maximum.
-City of Encinitas Transient Occupancy Tax of 10% is not included in the nightly rate.

-Dedicated off-street parking for 3 cars.

Summary: Two of us stayed here for the month of September. For reference, it was a great time of year to be in this area. It is located near Highway 5 with easy drives to nearby areas like Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad, or even San Diego. The house came with beach chairs, a wagon to pull supplies from the car to the beach, etc. We did load that up in the car and drive to the beach frequently. While we did walk the 1 mile or so to the town / beach nearby, it was not something we did often. The roads are very busy and the incline can be quite steep. We frequented other beaches near Del Mar or Encinitas. It was not difficult to park and found it very convenient. The house is well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We chose to cook dinner some nights and the kitchen had everything you can think of to prepare meals. The appliances are updated and in great working order. The outside space is nice and relaxing and is completely fenced in for a dog to roam freely. It has a grill and plenty of seating area. Overall the house appeared recently updated including the two bathrooms. We did not utilize the guest rooms, other than for storage. It is a great rental home located centrally in the coastal area with lots to do and see.
